Tunnel Vision-- or not?

Whatever happened to the job opportunities? Where are they?

I have been depressed recently to know that there really is an opportunity deficit in this country. Given the fact that I am a nurse professional, this makes the window of opportunity much smaller than the rest. Understanding what this means is a different thing from living it out. What do I mean by this statement you might say? What I meant was there are times when you can understand the fact that you need to really make an effort to find the perfect job. But is there really one? With the decline of nurses going to the US or UK, is there really an opportunity left for the ones left in this country? Or are we just going to suffer from getting a below minimum salary? After studying for four years and almost spending more or less a million pesos for education, is this really what this course is all about? This so called noble profession that everybody thinks will give them the life that they want?

I just felt the need to rant—ranting finished.
